National Basketball Association (NBA) group the Chicago Bulls is launching an NFT collection this month, including redesigns by prominent artists of the group’s logo design.

Each piece of art work will be minted on the Ethereum blockchain specifically through Coinbase’s NFT platform as a single one-off NFT.

” The Aurochs” collection will be auctioned on September 22 beginning at a cost of 0.2 ETH, or around $320.

The NBA will take 10% of the profits of the sale together with 40% going to the artists and 40% to the Bulls.

The last 10% will be provided to the Chicago-based non-profit After School Matters, an organisation that offers scholastic and academic chances to Chicago’s youth.

The group dealt with 23 artists associated with NFTs to reimagine the Chicago Bulls logo design. Nevertheless, the NFT token art work will not change the logo design, viewed as a renowned piece of images considering that the group’s creation in 1966.

” I am a fan of basic yet impactful strong images. The power and stature of the Bull is something valued and revered by all cultures”, stated task artist Zoe Rain.
